Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has been nominated for the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Award after an impressive season.

He has also been involved in the team's 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying rounds, having played a role in sealing a ticket to the playoffs.
However, he has received criticism from Nigerians following his poor performance in the Super Eagles' last two qualifying games.
