Super Eagles AFCON target

After winning the AFCON in 1980, 1994, and 2013, Nigeria is aiming for a fourth championship, which would level them with Ghana, their fiercest rival in West Africa, and leave only Egypt (seven AFCON) and Cameroon (five AFCON) ahead of them.

The Super Eagles' next games are against Ivory Coast on January 18 and Guinea Bissau on January 22, following their initial game on January 14 against Equatorial Guinea.
