Real Madrid are not backing down on their plans to sign Villarreal forward Samuel Chukwueze this summer.
Real Madrid have reportedly contacted Nigerian star Samuel Chukwueze for a possible summer transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu, according to AS.
The Super Eagles winger made some eye-catching performances for Villarreal this season and the best of them was against Los Blancos.
The Nigerian winger scored three goals against Real Madrid, and one of them was a contender for the goal of the season.
And following the departure of Karim Benzema, Marco Asensio, Eden Hazard and Mariano, Madrid only have Rodrygo, Vinicius Junior and new arrival Joselu in their attack.

Chukwueze, who signed a new deal with the Yellow Submarines with an €80m release clause in 2019, has been valued by Real to €40m because he has a year left on his contract.
The former Golden Eaglets star played his best campaign for Villarreal, hitting double figures in goals and assists in 50 matches played in all competitions.
Three of his 13 goals came against Real Madrid, one in the Copa del Rey and the other two in La Liga during the 3-2 win over the Whites at the Bernabeu.
Chukwueze grabbed one to even the score at 1-1 then scored a solo effort, taking on four Madrid players before putting the ball past Thibaut Courtois.
