The Cameroon football legend has been dragged by his estranged wife and daughter for 5 years after allegedly failing to pay up in child support.
The court drama between Samuel Eto’o and his estranged daughter Erika do Rosario Nieves appears to have reached its conclusion.
Reports today revealed that the FECAFOOT president and Cameroon football legend has agreed to pay his child support debts following allegations of neglecting his duties as a father.
Pulse Sports reported that in February 2022, Erika do Rosario Nieves was judicially recognized in as the biological daughter of Samuel Eto'o.

The daughter of Samuel Eto'o is currently pushing for the imprisonment of the former footballer having allegedly neglected his duties as a father.
However, this came after Eto’o had been sued to court in 2018 by Erika’s mother Adileusa do Rosario.
The case which has lingered for five years has even seen his daughter’s legal representative request that the former Barcelona and Inter striker be thrown in jail for non-payment of his maintenance, and also because Eto’o had always reportedly disowned it.

After five years of a back and forth in the judicial process, Eto'o and his 24-year-old daughter, Erika do Rosario have reportedly reached an agreement for the payment of about 90,000 euros for unpaid maintenance pensions.
Erika’s lawyer Fernando Osuna reveals to the agency 'EFE' via Marca, that a "satisfactory" agreement has been reached between both parties, after a full week of negotiations.

Erika's lawyer, Fernando Osuna also took the opportunity to ask "other parents" in the same situation to "not shirk their responsibility and try to reach agreements with their children, because they can not pay for past mistakes, and today Justice is very aware of these issues and children always end up winning these cases. "
This comes after Erika filed a lawsuit for the maintenance pension of 1,400 euros per month in 2018.
Who is Erika do Rosario?

Pulse Sports reported that Erika do Rosario Nieves, was born in 1999 in the Alarcón Foundation hospital in Madrid due to an affair between former Cameroon international Samuel Eto’o and a woman known as Adileusa do Rosario.
The mother of the 22-year-old woman revealed that, when the ex-footballer knew of her pregnancy, he accused her of "trying to amass his fortune" and allegedly threatened to "interrupt the pregnancy".
