Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé hospitalized as club issue statement on players condition
The Madrid striker has been battling fever and stomach pain since Monday at the team hotel during preparations for their first Club World Cup match in the USA.
The forward missed Real Madrid's opening game of the FIFA Club World Cup against Al Hilal, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
Mbappe hospitalised
Real Madrid confirmed the news in an official statement saying his condition hasn't improved as hoped, according to club doctors, prompting his transfer to a hospital for further observation.
Spanish outlet Marca, via Sportal, also reports that the humid Florida climate isn't helping Mbappé's recovery.
