Marcus Rashford has taken to life at Barcelona well and is already fostering close relationships with some members of the dressing room, as he recently named three players he has developed a bond with.

The 27-year-old joined the Blaugrana in the summer after spending 23 years of his life at Manchester United. His signing elicited mixed reactions, but he has already gone about silencing the detractors with 10 goal contributions so far. 

What Rashford said 

However, what Rashford could contribute on the pitch was only half the criticism surrounding him, as his attitude had been called into question.

But the England international has shown great character in his first few months as a Blaugrana and is already forming relationships in the dressing room. 

“I’m really enjoying my time in Spain. The timing is the best, but it’s been a very big change. I’m learning every day; I’m enjoying it a lot,” he said, per Football Espana.

“I hope to be at Barcelona for a long time. I get along very well with Roony, as well as Jules and Frenkie. It’s a team in which we all mix. We are united. 

“The team is fantastic; I just have to be in the right position. I will continue to try to do this. We have to continue like this to be our best version. We have a lot more to do this season.”

Meanwhile, Rashford has sent a clear warning to Real Madrid ahead of the El Clásico clash this weekend. Rashford has set his sights on this weekend's El Clásico, declaring that facing Real Madrid is "one of the reasons I came here."
