Key match details
Bournemouth unleashed a relentless attacking assault from the outset, and their aggressive approach paid dividends in the ninth minute.
Justin Kluivert, in scintillating form, capped off a lightning-fast counter-attack with a precise finish, similar to his strike against Newcastle just a week ago.
As the contest approached the half-hour mark, Ryan Christie and Antoine Semenyo forced Matz Sels into two crucial saves, preventing the lead from worsening. However, he could do little to stave the second-half onslaught.
In the 55th minute, Kluivert's exquisite delivery into the box allowed Ouattara to head home to make it two. Two nearly became three minutes later, but VAR intervened, correctly ruling out Kluivert's striker for offside.
Undeterred, Iraola's side sealed the victory in the 62nd minute, courtesy of Tyler Adams' threaded pass, which enabled Ouattara to showcase his clinical finishing skills for his second of the game.
Forest's afternoon worsened as Ouattara completed his hat trick, clinically converting from close range after Sels' error, before Semenyo added a fifth goal with a cheeky finish.
