Turkish pundit Serhat Ulueren has issued a strong warning, suggesting that the Super Eagles star would be "disgraced" if he made the switch to Old Trafford.
Turkish pundit warns Osimhen about Manchester United move
Following Galatasaray’s commanding 5-1 victory over Eyüpspor, where Osimhen netted his 31st goal of the season, Serhat Ulueren didn't mince words when discussing the striker’s future.
)
Speaking on the Telegol program, Ulueren argued that a move to Manchester United would be a massive step in the wrong direction for Osimhen.
“You look at Osimhen and Morata, they don’t just score goals. They pass, distribute the ball, make assists,” Ulueren said, adding, "If you put both of them at Real Madrid or Barcelona, they would thrive without even smiling.
)
“There is a serious lack of centre forwards in the world. There aren’t many truly talented players in the world. But if Osimhen were to go and play in Manchester United, he would be disgraced. That team needs to be rebuilt from scratch.”
Premier League move in doubt despite Manchester United's interest
Despite Manchester United’s urgent need for a top-class striker, Osimhen’s future in the Premier League remains uncertain.
)
Although the Red Devils have shown strong interest, multiple reports suggest Premier League clubs are hesitant to meet Osimhen’s high salary demands, reportedly around €12 million annually.
Additionally, rumoured concerns about his character and professionalism have made potential suitors wary.
)
With 31 goals already this season on loan from Napoli, Osimhen seems destined for a high-profile move, but unless he adjusts his financial expectations, a leap to England may not materialise.
