The Diego Armando Maradona Stadium hosted its newly crowned champions today against a spirited Viola side. The hosts played in second gear for most of the game, but an Osimhen attempt from 18 yards ensured no bitter taste in the celebrations.

Napoli looked to return to winning ways after consecutive draws, and they had to do it against a tough Fiorentina team.

Weah previously held the record for most goals scored by an African in the league with 46; Osimhen's strike took his tally to 47, making him the most prolific African in Italian top flight history.
