Espírito Santo extends contract

Nottingham Forest announced early this Saturday that manager Nuno Espírito Santo has signed a three-year contract extension, keeping him at the club until 2028, as reported by Abola.

"I'm thrilled to be able to continue our journey with this fantastic football club," Nuno told club media. "Since arriving at Forest, we've worked tirelessly to build a strong connection between the players, the fans and everyone at the club, which helped us achieve great things last season.

Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis, who was involved in a touchline discussion with the manager last season, highlighted the "huge impact" Nuno has had: "Nuno has made a huge impact and performed very well during his time with us.

"He has shown that he maximises player performance and is an expert in player development, integrating our young talent into the first team.

"We have a strong and solid relationship, and above all, we share the same dream and ambition to make history for Nottingham Forest, competing in the Premier League and in Europe and winning trophies for our great club."
