He featured in the draw against Venezuela, assisting Arsenal’s Gabriel Maghalaes for the opener; however, in the defeat to Marcelo Bielsa’s Uruguay, he had to be stretched out at half-time after sustaining an injury.
He looked to be in agony after going down in pain, suggesting a serious injury. The fears have now been confirmed after Al-Hilal announced the player had hurt his ACL.
“The medical tests “NEYMAR ” underwent, confirmed the Anterior Cruciate Ligament and Meniscus tear injury in his knee. He will be going through surgery and then a treatment program that will be determined later.”
