A former Arsenal youth star weighed in on the Benjamin Sesko vs Viktor Gyokeres debates going on in Gunner spheres.
Super Eagles-eligible striker Chuba Akpom urged Arsenal to sign Viktor Gyokeres over Benjamin Sesko, citing the Swede’s experience.
The 29-year-old Akpom currently plies his trade for Lille, but he came through the ranks at Arsenal and is a Gooner. In a recent interview, he was quizzed about Arsenal's transfer activity.

Osimhen, Gyokeres or Sesko: Arsenal and Man Utd tug-of-war imminent after report emerges
Arsenal are reportedly switching focus to a Manchester United target after a rumoured complication.
Gyokeres vs Sesko
Arsenal's sporting director, Andrea Berta, is simultaneously negotiating for Gyokeres and Sesko with the plan to land either, but not both.
Sesko, 22, is significantly younger than the 27-year-old Gyokeres. He is believed to have a higher ceiling and will give many years, but he is not yet the finished product.
Gyokeres, on the other hand, is already in his prime years, and he scored more goals than any other player in Europe's top leagues this season and only missed out on the European Golden Shoe due to the points coefficient system.

What Akpom said
Asked who he prefers Arsenal make a move for, Akpom said, “Gyokeres for me, for me, and it's not even close, to be honest,” in a video making the rounds on social media.
“it's subjective, isn't it? You can talk about age with Sesko, but Gyokeres is ready now, you know. I've played against him in the championship.
“He took Coventry to the playoff finals, you know, basically alone and with one or two other players, and he's gone to Portugal and he scored – what is it? I don't know how many goals, 50 goals in both seasons, or something like that.
“If Arsenal are looking for now, then it's Gyokeres and if they Arsenal had Gyokeres past 2 or 3 seasons, I'm not saying we would have won a Premier League, but yeah…I'm an Arsenal fan, of course, yeah…I think Gyokeres is a beast and we need him now.
For Akpom, the dream would be to see Arsenal line up next season with a front three including two new signings, Rodrygo and Gyokeres.
“I would love Rodriygo on the left. My dream is like Rodrygo, Gyokeres and Saka on the right. I think that front three is deadly.
