Olamilekan was heavily involved as the Sky Blues almost registered their first win of the tournament in superb style.

The youngster came off the bench to play a decisive role to inspire Remo to their second point against the Pride of Rivers.

Moments after coming on, Olamilekan was a thorn in Rivers United's defenders, who could not handle the youngster and his tricky. He went on to assist hero Adedayo to cancel out Nyima Nwagua’s first half opener for Rivers.

And in added time, Adedayo completed the comeback when he unleashed a screamer to make it 2-1.

The entire team celebrated wildly with their fans, with Olamilekan running to celebrate with famous photographer OgaNla while the game was not over.

However, his excessive celebration did not go down well with Nigeria beach soccer legend Abu Azeez.

Rivers United shocked the Sky Blues with a late equaliser moments after that bizarre celebration with the photojournalist, a moment that left Azeez furious from the stands.

Reacting on his social media account, the Beach Soccer legend enjoyed Olamilekan's outstanding performance against the champions after coming on but he was unhappy with the momentary lack of focus at such a critical moment in the game from the talented player.

Remo Stars are still without a win over Rivers United.

“Your team scored a late goal and was in front, instead of you to retreat and be more focused for the last 1 minute of the game, you ran to the other side of the field to meet Oganla (na we get here), den u started rolling on the floor, Very nonsense mentality.”

Remo Stars have drawn two of their two matches at the Super 6 and conceded as many goals (four) as they have scored.

The Sky Blues are back in action on Wednesday when they take on Sunshine Stars.
