Nigeria secured a comfortable victory over Sao Tome in their last game of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The Super Eagles made it five wins in six games and topped their Group A standing as they qualified for the African Cup of Nations.

Osimhen scored the first goal of the game before Ademola Lookman doubled the lead for the Super Eagles in the first half.
Taiwo Awoniyi scored the third goal and Osimhen scored the fourth and fifth goals before Samuel Chukuweze killed the game with the sixth goal of the game.

Bruno Onyemaechi's burst of pace on the left flank was an issue for Sao Tome’s defenders as they could not cope with his overlapping run and crosses into the box.

The Leicester player's performance was at the top level today and he held his ground for the team during the game.

The Atalanta forward was excellent all through the game and caused a lot of havoc for the Sao Tome defenders.

The Leicester forward was up for the game and was dangerous with the ball, giving the Super Eagles a chance to move forward.
