Augustine Eguavoen has been praised for his respectful leadership by Osimhen.

The players staged a protest by boycotting a training session on Tuesday, demanding the settlement of outstanding bonuses and allowances.

The dispute was resolved by Wednesday, allowing the team to resume training at the Institut Royal de Formation Des Cadres in Salé, just outside Rabat.

What Eguavoen said

"These boys that I know, that I have worked with, want to go to the FIFA World Cup. Every professional footballer aspires to play at the World Cup and enhance their market value," Eguavoen stated in an interview with nff.com.

He added, "The timing of the strike was wrong. They might have had their reasons, but the timing was not the best. Having said that, I have faith in them to rise up to the occasion and do the business on Thursday, and afterwards, on Sunday."
