The Super Eagles have expressed their admiration for Ademola Lookman following his outstanding performance in Atalanta's 5-0 victory over Empoli on Sunday. 

As reported by Pulse Sports Nigeria, the Nigerian forward was instrumental in the match, scoring two goals and earning the title of man of the match, which has led to widespread praise from his national team.

Lookman's stellar display came after a tumultuous week where he faced criticism following a missed penalty in Atalanta's Champions League loss. 

However, he responded emphatically, scoring twice and showing his skill and determination. 

His first goal came just before halftime, where he deftly rounded the goalkeeper to slot home an empty netter after receiving a precise through ball from Mateo Retegui. 

He added his second goal early in the second half with a powerful angled shot that left the Empoli defence scrambling.

This victory not only reaffirmed Lookman's status as a key player for Atalanta but also reignited their Serie A title hopes, as they now sit just three points behind league leaders Inter Milan.
