The DCI playfully taunted Manchester United fans on Facebook after Arsenal's 3-1 victory, with witty posts highlighting the win.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) trolled Manchester United fans after a 3-1 thrashing by Arsenal in an English Premier League match played at Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

The Gunners scored twice in stoppage time to secure a dramatic victory in a largely scrappy game.

United first thought they had snatched three points only to see Alejandro Garnacho's 88th-minute finish ruled out for offside by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) with the score 1-1.

The drama then switched to the other end in eight added minutes as Declan Rice's deflected shot gave Arsenal the lead before substitute Gabriel Jesus raced clear to wrap up the win as the stadium exploded in elation.

United had taken the lead in the 27th minute when Christian Eriksen's outstanding pass played in Marcus Rashford, who cut inside to send an unerring right-foot drive past Arsenal keeper Aaron Ramsdale.

And in a twist that Alejandro Garnacho would have been proud of, the DCI orchestrated their own offside maneuver in the realm of humor.

Just when Manchester United fans thought they had escaped with their pride relatively intact, the DCI's Facebook post brought them back to reality with a digital slap to the ego.

The post, adorned with a virtual wink, read, "Na Tulikuwa Tumewawuon!" which roughly translates to "Oh, we had warned you!"

But the comedic ride did not stop there. As the match progressed, so did the DCI's comedic ambitions. They slipped into an Arsenal supporter's jersey and declared, "We are the Gunners!!!", adopting the persona of an ecstatic soccer fan.

The Kenyan investigative agency decided to embrace their inner comedian, proclaiming themselves as loyal Arsenal enthusiasts, declaring "Sisi kama Arsenal!" – translating to "We are Arsenal!"

The internet, as expected, erupted into a symphony of reactions. Manchester United fans fired back with a barrage of witty retorts, attempting to outdo the DCI in the humor department.

Arsenal fans, on the other hand, reveled in the newfound camaraderie with their unlikely ally in the DCI.

One fan exclaimed, "Who knew the DCI had a hidden talent for comedy? They are not just solving crimes, they're also cracking us up!"

Memes flowed like a river in full flood, gifs danced in jubilation, and emojis became the lingua franca of the virtual football showdown.
