Arguably the Premier League signing of the season, Chelsea's Cole Palmer continues to prove his worth for the blues with another record-breaking performance

Chelsea’s Cole Palmer is enjoying a stellar season since dumping Manchester City for the Blues and continues to set records and reach milestones in his first season in London.

The 21-year-old reached a new milestone with his goal for Chelsea against West Ham, equalling a 29-year-old record.

Cole Palmer reaches 30 goal contributions for the season

The England international scored the first goal for the Blues against West Ham, his 21st of the season.

It goes with the nine assists he has provided this season, giving the Chelsea star 30 goal contributions in the Premier League League, more than any other player aged 21 and under.

Palmer makes Premier League history

One day before his 22nd birthday, Cole Palmer has now become only the third player in Premier League history to reach 30+ goal involvements in a single season while aged 21 or younger and the first to do it since the turn of the century.

In Premier League history, only Robbie Fowler in the 1994/95 and 1995-96 seasons and Chris Sutton in the 93-94 season have ever managed to reach the 30-goal involvement milestone before turning 22 years old.

Palmer is currently Chelsea’s top scorer in all competitions this season after scoring 25 goals in 44 matches, while also providing 13 assists for teammates and is on course for a place in England’s squad for the 2024 Euros.
