Sadio Mane: Former Saint set to abandon Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr after losing league title to Al Hilal
Just a year after joining Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, Sadio Mane could be on the move back to Europe.
Mane has been a success for Al Nassr since he acrimoniously joined the Saudi Pro League side from Bayern Munich last year.
Mane to leave Ronaldo, Al Nassr
The former African footballer of the year has scored 30 goals in just 42 appearances for Al Nassr but could leave the club following defeat in the league to Al Hilal.
According to Sportskeeda, the 32-year-old has reportedly become the subject of a transfer speculation from Turkey, with Super Lig giants Galatasaray SK reportedly interested in the former Saint.
With just two matches left to play, Galatasaray are looking good for the title as they sit pretty at the top of the standings by six points and need only a win in the remaining matches to wrap up the Super Lig title.
But the Turkish side seems to be already planning ahead of next season which would also see them play in the Champions League should they seal the Lig crown.
Should the deal turn out to be a legitimate one, the chance to feature in the Champions League again could prove too good to reject for the Senegalese star.
It will be a major blow to Ronaldo and Al Nassr should Galatasaray manage to pull off the coup, especially after just losing the Saudi Pro League title to rivals Al Hilal.
