Mbappe scores first LALIGA hattrick in Real Madrid's triumph over Valladolid

Kylian Mbappe scored a hattrick to help Real Madrid beat Real Valladolid and keep their lead margin at the top of LALIGA standings.

Despite the outcome, it was Valladolid who had the first chance of the game.  David Torres' point-blank header from a corner was expertly parried by Thibaut Courtois. 

The goalkeeper was again called upon to deny Mamadou Sylla's effort, while Antonio Rudiger unleashed a speculative long-range strike at the other end, which Karl Hein acrobatically tipped away for a corner. The ensuing set-piece culminated in Aurélien Tchouaméni's header crashing onto the roof of the net.

It wasn't until the half-hour mark that Los Blancos finally broke the deadlock, courtesy of Kylian Mbappe’s sublime curler into the far corner, expertly crafted following a slick one-two exchange with Jude Bellingham. 

Ancelotti's charges assumed control in the second half, with Mbappe doubling his tally—and securing his seventh goal in five outings—before the hour mark. The French phenom collected Rodrygo's pinpoint pass and showcased his clinical finishing prowess, delicately placing the ball into the bottom corner to effectively seal the outcome.

With the 90-minute mark looming, Madrid was awarded a penalty, which led to Mario Martin's dismissal following his second yellow card. Mbappe stepped up to take the spot-kick and made no mistake, sending Hein the wrong way to complete his maiden hat-trick for Los Blancos.
