Welcome to Argyle, Wayne.#pafc
This is Rooney's first coaching role since he was let go by Birmingham City on January 2nd.
During his brief stint there, the team struggled, losing nine out of 15 games and getting relegated from the Championship.
This new job with Plymouth Argyle marks Rooney's fourth head coach position. He previously managed Derby County, helping them avoid relegation in his first season but leaving after they were relegated the next year due to financial issues.
