Manchester United have denounced the rumours that claim they are in search of a replacement for Ten Hag.

Manchester United have denied reports that they are contemplating replacing Erik ten Hag amid the club’s on-field struggles this season.

The Red Devils have failed to continue on the trajectory back to the top they seemed to be on last campaign.

They have lost half the league games they played this season, recently crashed out of the EFL Cup in embarrassing fashion, and are third in their Champions League group, losing two of the three games played.

As Pulse Sports reported, Ten Hag could be facing an inevitable sack after numerous recent failures with the club, with former Real Madrid manager and football legend Zinedine Zidane reportedly among the favourites to replace him.

New part-owners Jim Ratcliffe and the INEOS group have promised sweeping changes to the footballing aspect of the club, and the first of those could be Ten Hag’s departure.

According to Times Sports, Manchester United have lined up Zidane and Sporting CP manager Ruben Amorim to replace the faltering Dutchman if results on the pitch do not improve.

Manchester United dispel rumours

Following the widespread rumours of a shortlist of replacements for the former Ajax boss, the club are now said to have denied making such moves.

According to a report by the reliable Fabrizio Romano, the club vehemently denied the claims, saying they were “categorically false.”
