Last chance! Forgotten England midfielder Dele Alli bags contract with Serie A side to rescue career
Dele Alli is set to return to top-level football after a two-year absence.
The 28-year-old former Tottenham and Everton star has been training with Serie A outfit Como since last month, and according to reports, a contract offer is on the table.
Manager Cesc Fabregas had initially downplayed the possibility of a deal, however, it appears that Alli has done enough to convince Fabregas and the Como hierarchy to offer him a contract.
The deal, as reported by Fabrizio Romano, will run until June 2026, with an option for an additional year if certain appearance and availability targets are met.
