João Félix's father explains Al Nassr choice

Carlos Sequeira, João Félix's father, explained on Monday why the forward chose Al Nassr over Chelsea, bypassing Benfica, who were reportedly in a strong position to secure his signing during this transfer window.

"The family is very happy to see João join Al Nassr and move to Saudi Arabia," he began, speaking to Qatari website winwin.

"We think this move will be very good for his life, as we have an excellent impression of the club, the people, and the country," he added.

These statements come at a time when the deal is not yet official. However, a video shared Monday morning shows the Portuguese international already training alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and the rest of the squad, under the management of Jorge Jesus.
