On loan Marcus Rashford opened up on his future at Barcelona.

Marcus Rashford has no intention of returning to Manchester United after his loan spell is completed, reiterating the desire to have a long, fruitful career following the victory against Real Sociedad.

The 27-year-old registered another assist today to help the Blaugrana beat La Reale 2-1 and move to the top of the log. The assist was his third in Blue and Red, continuing his talismanic performances for the champions.

What Rashford said

After the match, he spoke with reporters who asked about his performance. He stated that he was focused on helping Barcelona achieve their goals and that he wanted to be a member of the squad for many years to come.

"My assist? It's my job,” he said, per Blazquez Fort. “I'm focused, and I know I have to give my all so that this Barça wins titles. My big goal is to stay at Barcelona. I'm very happy here, and I dream of wearing these colours for many years."

Rashford is currently on a season-long loan at Barcelona, but the Catalan side secured a purchase option for €35 million. While the figure is relatively low compared to Rashford's talents, signing him is not a given. Barcelona's precarious financial situation means the England international would have to force their hands with his performances.
