Top 10 Greatest Goals in Football History
From Lionel Messi's spectacular against Getafe in 2007 to Diego Maradona's stunner against England in 1986, these are the top 10 greatest goals in football history.
Delving deeper into the conversation, Ighalo explained his reservations: “I would love to play but I have to guarantee my security.”
“It’s not just playing, there are so many things involved. Playing almost 20 years outside Nigeria and then coming back to play in your homeland, I know it’s going to be tough, but if certain things are put in place, why not? I would love to.”

Reports have linked Ighalo with a potential move to Enyimba, the nine-time NPFL champions, who are keen to strengthen their squad with the experienced striker.
Ighalo has also in the past indicated a willingness to play in the NPFL for six months to a year without salary, provided there is adequate security, improved media coverage, and competent refereeing in the league.

Having launched his professional career with Julius Berger in Nigeria before making his mark in Europe and Asia, Ighalo’s openness to returning home underlines his desire to give back to Nigerian football in the latter stages of his career.
His honest reflections highlight both his passion and the practical considerations that will shape any potential homecoming and also open the doors to more quality additions for the NPFL.
