Former Turkish referee and pundit Ahmet Çakar expressed his shock at Victor Osimhen’s transfer situation.
The Super Eagles star spent last season on loan with Galatasaray, helping the club to two trophies and becoming the league’s highest goal scorer.
He returned to Napoli after his loan deal expired and he is expected to leave the Italian giant this summer.
Despite being under contract with Napoli until June 2026, the former African Footballer of the Year is on the market this summer, as he is not part of manager Antonio Conte's plans.

Ahmet speaks about Osimhen
Ahmet has claimed that Osimhen is holding out for a dream move to the English Premier League or another top European league despite receiving lucrative offers from elsewhere.
In quotes relayed by Habersarikirmizi, Çakar told Sabah, "I wonder what Osimhen is waiting for. Even though he received a contract from Saudi Arabia that he would hardly earn again in his life, he didn't go there, at least not for now. I think he is chasing England or another big league."
)
Çakar also highlighted Galatasaray are still holding out hope of landing the Super Eagles star.
"Galatasaray is rightly thinking that maybe they will wait for Osimhen to give up and sign for Galatasaray again. After Osimhen is confirmed, they may turn to another goal scorer, whether positive or negative."

Despite Al-Hilal's eye-watering wage offer, Saudi Arabian giants Al-Hilal are reportedly interested in Osimhen, but the striker is said to be reluctant to join the Saudi Pro League at this point in his career.
He had a very successful loan spell at Galatasaray last season, contributing to 45 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions.
Napoli's €75 million valuation is proving a major stumbling block for the Turkish champions, who are eager to sign him on a permanent deal.
