Real Madrid have begun talks with Thibaut Courtois on a new contract extension as they look to keep him at the club.
He surprised many at his unveiling by answering questions in fluent Spanish, which he said took “a few months” to learn.
The England international started Real Madrid’s Group H opener at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami and told Flashscore: “In my mind and my heart, I know I made the right decisions for me. Obviously, it was a very proud moment for me.
