‘I didn’t like what was being said’ - Tottenham manager hits back at fans following loss to Bournemouth
Tottenham have struggled with their performance this season, having managed just six wins in 14 games in the EPL.
Their recent loss came at the hands of Bournemouth, who secured a narrow 1-0 victory at the Vitality stadium.
The result puts Spurs in 10th place on the league table, with pressure mounting on Postecoglou to turn things around.
Postecoglou reaction to fans
Tottenham manager Postecoglou has shown his disappointment to the fans following their comment last night.
According to the Sun, Postecoglou said, “They’re disappointed and rightly so and they gave me some direct feedback, which is taken on board.
“I didn’t like what was being said because I’m a human being but you’ve got to cop it. I’ve been around long enough to know when things don’t go well you’ve got to understand the frustration and disappointment.
“And they’re rightly disappointed because we let a game of football get away from us. But that’s okay. I’m okay with all that.
“All I can say is I’m really disappointed (with the performance) and I’m determined to get it right and will keep fighting until we do.”
Postecoglou's team has only won once in six games in the last month, after a 4-0 thumping at Manchester City.
They drew to Fulham at the weekend before their loss to Bournemouth and will be looking to get back to winning ways when they face Chelsea on Sunday.
