Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen could be set to remain in Italy this summer
Juventus are not backing down in their pursuit of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, as the Turin giants prepare for a major squad overhaul ahead of the 2025–26 season.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Bianconeri have reopened discussions with Osimhen’s representatives, signalling renewed intent to bring the Napoli-owned forward to the Allianz Stadium.
Osimhen tops Juventus' summer wishlist despite Napoli demands
Victor Osimhen has once again taken centre stage in Juventus' transfer plans, with club officials reportedly resuming talks with the striker’s camp in recent days.
)
The 26-year-old Super Eagles star remains a top priority for manager Igor Tudor, who has demanded at least three high-profile signings as part of his rebuild.
However, signing Osimhen will not be straightforward. While his €75 million release clause applies to foreign clubs, Serie A sides must negotiate directly with Napoli, a task that has historically proven difficult.
)
Despite previous reports claiming Osimhen rejected Juve’s advances, Gazzetta insists the interest is very much alive.
Osimhen, who has already turned down a lucrative €30 million-a-year offer from Saudi side Al-Hilal, is keen to continue his career in Europe, which keeps Juventus in the running.
Premier League and Saudi competition remain fierce
Juventus may face stiff competition if they want to secure Osimhen’s signature after the Nigerian star scored 37 goals in 41 appearances while on loan at Galatasaray.
)
Premier League powerhouses Manchester United, Liverpool, and Arsenal are all monitoring the striker’s situation closely, while Al-Hilal reportedly plan to make another push after the Club World Cup.
Despite these rival interests, Juventus appear confident in their approach, with Osimhen now clearly ahead of alternatives like Viktor Gyokeres and Santiago Castro.

If Juventus can find common ground with Napoli, they could be poised to land one of Europe’s most lethal forwards and usher in a new era in Turin.
