Victor Osimhen finishes the season in style with his 37th goal for Galatasaray, scoring a bullet header to seal a 2-0 win over Basaksehir and claim the Süper Lig top scorer title.

Nigeria and Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen capped off an extraordinary season in style as he helped Galatasaray secure a 2-0 win over Istanbul Basaksehir on the final day of the Turkish Süper Lig. 

The 26-year-old was decisive in the victory at Rams Park, first winning the penalty that his teammate Dries Mertens converted, before thunderously heading home the match-winning goal.

Osimhen’s bullet header not only sealed the win but also was his 37th goal across all competitions this season, ending his loan spell with Galatasaray on a high note. 

He finished the league campaign with 26 goals, claiming the top scorer title in the Süper Lig while also extending his record as the top scoring foreigner in a single season in Galatasaray's history.

The victory extended Galatasaray’s remarkable run to 11 consecutive wins, helping the club wrap up the season in style and dominance. 

Osimhen’s prolific goal-scoring exploits have been key to Galatasaray’s success this term, as the Nigerian forward broke records to become the highest-scoring foreign player in a single Turkish league season.
