Arsenal’s season ended in familiar disappointment, with no trophies to show for their early promise, and now, the focus shifts to the summer transfer window.
Manager Mikel Arteta is reportedly desperate to bring in a new striker to elevate his team and finally land that elusive Premier League title.
Gunners legend Thierry Henry didn’t hold back on the club's failure to secure silverware this season, and weighed in on their need for a top striker.
With names like Victor Osimhen, Viktor Gyokeres, and Benjamin Sesko floating around, Henry shared his pick on the latest Stick to Football podcast. His choice? Julian Alvarez.
“If you look at all the teams recently that have been winning big things, more often than not ok, you can look at the front three and look at the team.
"One of my favourite nines out there at the moment is Julian Alvarez.”
“The most complete striker that I’ve seen recently is Julián Alvarez!” 🇦🇷

Arsenal’s all-time leading scorer explained why Alvarez stands out.
“We’ve been talking about it, putting pressure, playing it long, whatever you want to do. Did you see the free kick he scored the other day?” Henry said.
“He can hold the ball long. He played at the Olympic Games. He played the Copa America. He doesn’t say he’s tired, hopefully nothing bad happens to him, he’s played everything. And the way he plays it, I just like him. Is it possible? I don’t know.”
