Manchester United have completed a deal for Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers as Ruben Amorim begins his squad rebuild.
Matheus Cunha has joined Manchester United from Wolves after the Red Devils triggered his £62.5m release clause, making him Amorim's first signing of the summer.
The United boss is eager to rebuild a squad that finished 15th in the Premier League, and Cunha is a huge statement of intent.
United met the £62.5m release clause in the 26-year-old's contract after agreeing to a structure of payment over two years, and his signing is particularly noteworthy, especially with captain and star man Bruno Fernandes linked with a move to Saudi side Al Hilal.
