Nigeria Super Falcons defender Michelle Alozie continues to draw attention after D’Tigress captain Sarak Ogoke demanded her jersey.

Alozie has become more popular following an impressive outing for Nigeria at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, FIFAWWC.

Alozie played all the matches as Nigeria navigated a group of death that included co-hosts Australia and Olympic champions Canada unscathed.

However, despite a gallant effort in the round of 16 against England, the Super Falcons went on to lose on penalties to the European champions with Alozie outstanding again.

The defender was excellent as she helped the Falcons keep quiet England’s superstar Lauren James, who received a red card out of frustration following a now infamous stamp on Alozie.
