West Ham midfielder Declan Rice has been linked with a possible transfer away from the Hammers after an impressive campaign.

The England International has recently established himself as one of the top midfielders in the world and is expected to leave for a club to have a better chance of competing for major trophies.

Arsenal have made Rice their number-one transfer target in the summer and are making moves to capture his signature. However, it has been reported that he will also consider a move to Bayern Munich after having a conversation with manager Thomas Tuchel.

Bayern target Rice

The Bundesliga winners are currently looking to strengthen their team in the summer and have set their sights on Arsenal’s target Declan Rice.

Following conversations between manager Thomas Tuchel and England's Rice, Sky Sport reports that Bayern could be in the lead to sign Rice.

Thomas Tuchel who led Bayern Munich to the Bundesliga title at the weekend has reportedly spoken to Rice about a possible transfer to Bayern.

Positive feedback from the conversation is alleged to have prompted the German champions to further up their pursuit of the 24-year-old.

West Ham are quoting a sum of £100 million for the transfer of Declan Rice and will not be bullied to sell their star player.

Arsenal make Rice their number one target

The Gunners are still interested in Rice despite Granit Xhaka leaving the club, as Mail Sport reported in January. Mikel Arteta has made Rice his top transfer target.

Rice has publicly expressed his desire to compete in the Champions League, which would improve the chances of the Gunners being able to sign the West Ham midfielder.

Arsenal are currently looking to bring in quality midfielders into their squad to help them challenge for the Premier League and Champions League next season.

Arteta’s men were in the title race for a long time before losing focus in the final lap of the season and manager Mikel Arteta isn’t laying low in the summer transfer window.
