Cristiano Ronaldo Announces Final Decision on FIFA Club World Cup Participation
Cristiano Ronaldo has ended speculation over whether he will be at the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup after breaking his silence over the tournament.
Spain appeared on course for yet another trophy, following last year’s European Championship triumph, as Martin Zubimendi opened the scoring in the 21st minute.
Their lead did not last long, however, as Portugal's energetic full-back Nuno Mendes slotted home the equaliser. Spain restored their advantage before half-time through Mikel Oyarzabal.
Lamine Yamal was quiet but Ronaldo, the other superstar on the pitch, took his chance to level things before going off injured.
In the end, Alvaro Morata's miss proved costly, and Portugal celebrated another trophy.
