Jude Bellingham has commented on his favourite role after Real Madrid’s Club World Cup victory over Pachuca.

Jude Bellingham has expressed his satisfaction with Real Madrid’s 3-1 win against Pachuca in the Club World Cup, stating they had significantly improved from their previous match.

Bellingham reflected on the challenge presented by Raul Asencio's red card, describing it as a normal occurrence for a young defender.

The Englishman admitted it was not a perfect game but affirmed the team's commitment to working towards the coach's tactical vision.

Bellingham on favourite position and role

Regarding his preferred position on the pitch, Bellingham found it challenging to specify one.

The midfielder clarified his preference for being heavily involved in the game by maximising his touches on the ball, regardless of whether he plays further forward or deeper.

"It's really difficult to say,” said Bellingham. “I prefer to be involved in the game by touching the ball as much as possible, whether that's further forward or further back.

“Further back, I can also get on the ball earlier, and if I'm further forward, the ball will come to me.

“In the last few games of last season, I was able to be really involved in the game by playing further forward. I try to play as well as I can wherever I am.”

Goals from the England midfielder, Arda Guler and Federico Valverde put Xabi Alonso's men ahead before Elias Montiel pulled one back for the Mexican outfit.

The result means Los Blancos enter the final group game atop Group H.
