His new deal is said to be at a level which 'recognises his standing as one of the leading players in the Premier League and Europe'.
Although Saka would command interest from any club in world football, it is understood that the Hale End graduate was only ever interested in staying at his boyhood side.
By locking down their most influential assets, Mikel Arteta’s side is ensuring stability as they continue to challenge for major honors.
The Gunners are now 6 points clear at the top of the Premier League, and chasing their first league trophy since 2004.
