Baleba, one of the Seagulls' most valuable assets, has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in recent weeks.
However, Brighton have insisted that the midfielder is not for sale this summer, giving Man United difficulty in pulling off the transfer.
What Brighton manager said
While Brighton are keen to retain the Cameroonian international, Hürzeler acknowledged the club's transfer model and their ability to cope with potential departures.
"As a club, we always find solutions, and I'm confident we'll continue to do so in the future. This is our model, and we have to accept it.
I think we've proven that we don't sell our key players on a whim. We've had offers for other players like Kaoru Mitoma and others, but we've demonstrated that not everyone is for sale," Hürzeler stated, as reported by Sportal.
Meanwhile, Brighton have rejected Manchester United's opening bid for midfielder Carlos Baleba after making their interest known.
