Key match details

The first half was cagey in front of goal despite Barcelona’s territorial superiority, with early chances coming and going but Osasuna goalkeeper Sergio Herrera standing firm to keep the score level at the break.

Barcelona’s best first-half efforts were thwarted by a couple of strong saves from Herrera as the hosts probed and tried to unlock the visitors’ disciplined five-man defensive shape.

The breakthrough came in the 70th minute. A swift Barcelona move saw Pedri pick out space and play a defence-splitting pass into the path of Raphinha, who made no mistake, calmly firing a left-footed strike into the bottom corner to make it 1–0.

With Osasuna still hanging in there, Barcelona turned the screw. In the 86th minute Raphinha struck again, this time volleying home from close range after a deflected cross fell kindly into his path, doubling Barça’s lead and all but sealing the three points.
