Arsenal got eliminated from the UEFA Champions League after losing to PSG in two legs in the semifinal.

The Gunners needed to overturn a 1-0 deficit in the first leg, which was a heap of work to do in France.

However, they suffered another defeat, losing 2-1 to the French champions PSG, failing to make it to the final.

As it happened

Ousmane Dembélé sustained a knock in the first leg victory against Arsenal, rendering him only fit for a spot on the bench for the second leg.

Thomas Partey returned to the starting lineup after missing the first leg due to suspension, allowing Declan Rice to move back into his familiar number eight position.

Arsenal got the first three chances of the game in the first 15 minutes, but Donnarumma was at his best again to keep his team in the game.

However, the Gunners failed to take their chances and conceded the first goal from a strike by Fabian Ruiz, giving PSG a 2-0 aggregate lead heading into the break.

The second half was a different game for PSG as they came out pushing and got the second goal after missing a penalty.

Arsenal got a goal back, giving them a little hope of a comeback after Bukayo Saka converted Trossard's cross.

PSG held on till the final whistle to claim a 2-1 victory over Mikel Arteta’s men and book a place in the final against Inter Milan.
