Cristiano Ronaldo leaves fans worried about his health after an heroic evening ended with him driven off the pitch injured.

Cristiano Ronaldo has now won his first trophy for Al-Nassr since moving to the Saudi Professional League earlier this year thanks to a 2-1 victory over Al-Hilal; however, the occasion ended on a more sombre note for the Portugal international.

The Ex-Manchester star scored a brace to both equalise and grab a winner for the Faris Najd in the Asia Club Champions Cup final, a few days after he scored the winner against Al-Shorta in the penultimate round.

The AFC Champions League finalists, Al-Hilal took the lead in the 51st minute after a brief period of sustained dominance following the resumption of the second half.

The Faris Najd's talisman, Ronaldo, pulled his team level in the 74th minute, despite a numerical disadvantage resulting from a red card shown to centre-back Abdullah Al-Amri.

The game went into extra-time, and it was the Real Madrid record goal scorer who found the back of the net once more for the winner, finishing brilliantly past Mohammed Al-Owais.

Al-Hilal fought for a late equaliser, but Luis Castro's men held on to the Asian Club Champions Cup triumph.

A sad ending to Ronaldo's outing

A Cup triumph can hardly be seen as a disappointing end to a campaign; however, the celebrations for Al-Nassr fans all over the world are bound to have a slightly bitter taste to them, as the club's captain suffered an injury before the end of the match.

The forward looked to hurt himself deep into extra time and had to be carted off the pitch. He was then replaced by Ali Al-Hassan.

It remains to be seen the extent of his injury, but should the Faris Najd mount a title charge this season, they will hope to have the former Sporting Lisbon man fully fit and firing.
