The 19-year-old Nigerian starlet, who joined Inter's youth academy from Remo Stars in his homeland, was brought on with 14 minutes remaining at the Stadio Ettore for his first taste of Serie A action.
Akinsanmiro has been tipped for big things after some eye-catching performances for Inter's U19 side, and manager Simone Inzaghi decided to blood the young forward with the points already wrapped up last night.
