'Rigged' - Epic Reactions as Chelsea handed special date with Real Madrid in UCL quarter-finals
Chelsea and Real Madrid will renew their rivalry for a third straight season when they face each other the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.
Following the Champions League quarter-finals live draw that held on Friday, March 17, Chelsea will first travel to the Santiago Bernabeu to play the 15-time European champions Real Madrid in the first-leg before hosting the defending champions at Stamford Bridge.
The first legs of the quarter-finals are set to take place on Tuesday, 11 April and Wednesday, 12 April.
The second legs will follow on Tuesday, 18 April and Wednesday, 19 April with both legs of the semi-finals following in May.
This will be the third time in a row both teams square up against each other in the Champions League.
Two seasons ago, the Blues faced Los Blancos in the semi-finals before eventually going on to win their second Champions eague trophy.
Chelsea and Real Madrid were drawn again in the Champions League quarterfinals last season, before the Los Blancos took their revenge and went ahead to lift a record 15th Champions League title.
