For boxing fans who might have once experienced the battle for all four major belts, it has been a long time coming.

Dillian Whyte is one man who pays attention to that choice, especially on Joshua's part.

Whyte has been rumored to face 'AJ' again this August but has become impatient with the lack of progress on that plan.

He said in a statement to the Sun that his domestic competitor was reluctant to take a chance on the Wilder match.

Whyte said, “Joshua’s team are doing interviews saying he beats me in four rounds.

"But he can’t decide if I’m his dream opponent or his worst nightmare.

"I want the fight. I know that DAZN want the fight, too, because it would be an absolutely huge event.

"The only problem we all have is Joshua. He has confidence issues and is afraid to take the fight.

"He doesn’t want to risk his retirement payday in Saudi Arabia against Wilder — who is also past his sell-by date.”

'AJ' should make a comeback to the ring in August, according to Eddie Hearn, who often works with Whyte and promotes Joshua.

Whyte won't be waiting around for very long to get an offer since he will soon establish a deadline and because his possible opponent isn't as popular as he previously was.
