Steph Curry welcomes Chris Paul to Warriors after Jordan Poole trade

Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry sent best wishes to his former teammate, Jordan Poole, and welcomed Chris Paul to the team officially.

The Warriors reacted to last season's disappointing playoff run by trading Jordan Poole, Patrick Baldwin, Ryan Rollins, a 2027 second-round draft pick, and a 2030 first-round draft pick to Washington for the 12-time All-Star guard, Chris Paul.

Curry welcomes Chris Paul to Golden State

Curry posted a video in his Instagram story sending kind words and praising Poole’s growth in his four-year run with the Dubs while taking the time to welcome his long-time rival now turned teammate, Pual, as he joins the franchise.

"Just [want to] say to JP how much I appreciated the four years. ... CP, can't wait to rock with you, brother. It's gonna be different with us on the same side."
