NBA 2K24: Top 10 highest-rated players REVEALED!

NBA 2K fans can brace up for another season of excitement again as 2K have revealed its player ratings for the highly-anticipated NBA 2K24.

As usual, some of the biggest names in the game dominate on the highest ratings.

The newly-revealed ratings have also triggered reactions from basketball fans and members of the NBA 2K community with one rookie in particular stealing the spotlight.

San Antonio Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama has been rated 84, the highest rating any rookie has received in NBA 2K history. 

The 19-year-old French power-forward also seemed delighted with his NBA 2K24 ratings in a clip that surfaced on social media.

"That's nice, that's alright," Wembanyama said in a video where his rating was revealed, though he promised Ronnie 2K that his rating would be over 90 by the end of the season "for sure." 

Wembanyama is expected to make his debut in the NBA having already made his mark in the French Pro A with ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne and the LNB Pro A with Metropolitans 92.

Nikola Jokić has been revealed as this year's highest-rated player with a 98 OVR, while five players shared 96 ratings: LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and Joel Embiid.

Las Vegas Aces' power forward A'ja Wilson has been revealed the highest-rated female player in NBA 2K24 women's edition with a 98 OVR.

2K also revealed its rating for WNBA cover star Sabrina Ionescu, who received a 90 overall rating in NBA 2K24.

Below is a list of the Top 10 highest-rated players in NBA 2K24.

However, Kawhi Leonard of the Los Angeles Clippers and Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers also share the same rating of 94 OVR.

NBA 2K24 will be released worldwide on Friday, September 8, 2023, for the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. 

However, Pre-orders, including for limited-time special editions of 2K24, are currently available.

This year will also be the 25th anniversary of the NBA 2K games and therefore a special Anniversary Edition of the game will be made available for a limited time that offers numerous extras in the game as well as a 12-month subscription to the NBA League Pass streaming service.

This Anniversary Edition will reportedly be available everywhere except Belgium.

There will be four versions of NBA 2K24 available for purchase: Kobe Bryant Edition (standard), WNBA Edition, Black Mamba Edition, and the 25th Anniversary Edition.
