LeBron James and Bronny make history as Lakers lose to Suns

The Los Angeles Lakers played the Phoenix Suns in a preseason game, and LeBron and Bronny James created NBA history by being the first father-son tandem to play together.

On his 20th birthday, Bronny joined the game in the second quarter of the Suns' 118-114 loss.

This comes after he scored his first points as a Lakers in the loss to the Timberwolves.

Nigeria's Josh Okogie would lead the Suns to victory with 15 points with an outstanding performance.

A father and son had never before participated simultaneously in an NBA game of any kind, including the preseason.

In June, Bronny, a second-round draft selection out of the University of Southern California, joined the Lakers.

LeBron who is 39, is a four-time NBA champion and the all-time record point scorer in the NBA.

The veteran player is about to begin his 22nd NBA season as he continues to break more records.

After Bronny joined the Lakers, he inked a new two-year contract with the team.

The Lakers take on the Minnesota Timberwolves on October 22, followed by the Boston Celtics, the defending champions, playing the New York Knicks. This marks the start of the 2024–25 NBA season.
