Jimmy Butler goes insane as the Miami Heat are one game away from the second round.

The Miami Heat recorded a 119-114 victory against the Milwaukee Bucks in an NBA Eastern Conference round one Game 4 Playoff fixture early on Tuesday, April 25, 2023.

The Miami Heat came into the game with a 2-1 lead and the task of extending their advantage in the series on home court.

The Bucks welcomed back Greek-Nigerian professional basketball player Giannis Sina Antetokounmpo who missed their last two games following a back injury in Game 1.

Heat beat Bucks to take 3-1 lead

The Bucks started well to put up 33 points and take a five-point lead at the end of the first quarter.

They continued to keep the Heat in check in the second half extending their lead to seven at the halftime break.

In the third quarter, the Bucks held off the Heat to increase their lead to nine. However, the Heat put up 41 points in the fourth quarter to close out the game in style.

Jimmy Butler explodes for the Heat

Jimmy Butler of the Miami Heat scored a franchise-record 56 points in Game 4 against the Milwaukee Bucks. 

With the highest-scoring quarter of his career, he established the tone early. He scored 22 of Miami's first quarter's 28 points, including 20 straight points late in the period over a 5:45 time span.

The Heat can defeat the top-seeded Bucks in Game 5 on Wednesday at Fiserv Forum after leading the series 3-1. 

With 6 minutes, and 9 seconds left, the Heat were down 101-89 when Butler took over. 

He went on a 13-0 run while scoring nine points. With 1:20 left, he made a 3-pointer to give the Heat a 110-109 lead. Butler sealed the deal with a jumper following a defensive stop. 

Butler made 15 of 17 free throws while shooting 19 of 28 from the field. 

In 40 minutes, he also contributed two assists and nine rebounds, derailing Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo's comeback. 

Nigerian contingent shine

On his return to the team, Antetokoumpo put up 26 points, 13 assists, 10 rebounds, one steal, and two blocks in 39 minutes of action.

American professional player of Nigerian descent Femi Adebayo had 15 points, eight rebounds, one steal, two assists, and one block in 31 minutes of action

Nigerian basketball star Gabe Vincent contributed 10 points, eight assists, two rebounds, and two steals in 29 minutes of action.

The Heat return away against the Bucks in Game 5 scheduled for Thursday, April 27, 2023.
