The Boston Celtics will face the Miami Heat after knocking out Joel Embiid's Philadelphia 76ers.

In Game 7, Jayson Tatum completely dominated for the Boston Celtics as they defeated the Philadelphia 76ers and league MVP Joel Embiid to win the series.

The Eastern Conference Finals between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat will now be played, and the victor of that series will play either the Los Angeles Lakers or Denver Nuggets in the NBA Finals.

Although Tatum's shooting has fluctuated throughout the playoffs, he has persevered and turned up a historic Game 7 effort.

Tatum endured despite having a difficult time in Game 6 and produced a strong last quarter to force this Game 7 that he ultimately won.

Stephen Curry's 50-point performance in Game 7 of the Golden State Warriors first-round series against the Sacramento Kings two weeks prior set the previous mark, which Tatum shattered.
